Native Australian Christmas cupcakes

 Acceptance of Quote

  • Your deposit secures the date of your event and represents acceptance of the attached quote and the following Terms and Conditions.
  • To secure your event date, a non-refundable deposit of 25% must be paid within 72 hours of receiving your quote.

 Final Design/Serves and Amendments

  • The quote provided represents the design as described. Please double-check any personal information, dates, and spelling of names.
  • Any design changes, serving changes or amendments must be made a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the order date and may incur additional fees.
  • All amendments or requests to change the final design must be made by emailing potoroopantry@gmail.com and an updated quote must be confirmed before being accepted.

  Dietary Requirements

  • Some dietary requirements can be catered for but will need to be communicated clearly from the outset- enquiry for further details. Please double check your quote to make sure the dietary requirements are listed.
  • Please keep in mind that allergens such as wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts and pollens are also processed in this kitchen, and cross-contamination may occur. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for any allergic reactions.

 Floral decorations

  • We prefer to source our floral decorations, however, if flowers are provided by an outside source we will place them for an additional fee.
  • We will liaise with the supplier to ensure flowers are safe to be placed on the cake.
  • For insurance purposes as well as creative design and maintaining the structure and integrity of the cake, only we will place flowers onto the cake.

 Final Payment

  • The final balance of your order, made by bank transfer or credit / debit card, is due within 7 days of your order date.
  • One reminder will be emailed if the balance is unpaid by this date.
  • Non-payment of the final balance by 5 days prior to event with reasonable attempts to communicate as described above, will result in a cancellation of the booking made and forfeit any deposit paid.

Hire of Equipment

  • The hire of any equipment will require the payment of a hire fee and a refundable bond.
  • The bond is refundable when all equipment hired is returned within 5 days of the event, clean and undamaged.
  • Non-return of hire goods or goods returned damaged or dirty will result in a forfeit of the bond paid in order to clean or repair/replace the equipment.

 Collection or Delivery of your Order

  • Collection or delivery of your baked goods is available on date provided for event by customer between 8.30 - 10.00 am, unless alternate arrangements have been agreed to prior to the date.
  • Please prepare for collecting your order by having sufficient space in your vehicle for your order, making sure there is a flat surface for the box to rest on, having the airconditioning running on warm days, going directly to the venue and placing in a fridge after collection; please do not make any unnecessary stops to maintain the integrity of your order during transport.
  • A Care Card and Serving Guide will be provided upon collection for safe handling and storage of your order after collection.
  • We are not responsible for any damage made to your order after delivery or collection is complete.
  • You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for your order. Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table and an optimal room temperature of 23 degrees Celsius or below.
  • Please let us know as soon as possible if you are running late. A late fee may apply.
  • Non-collection of an order after the agreed upon time may result in a $70 late fee.
  • Delivery of your order will be made to the agreed venue at an agreed time. Please provide the exact details of the venue, including address, venue contact name and phone number.
  • The venue will need to prepare for the delivery of your order; the preparation needed will be communicated in the lead-up to the event.
  • We may be available for an emergency ‘fix up’ call if the cake gets damaged after it has left us during transport or at a venue.

Cancellations

  • We understand that sometimes cancellations are necessary, all cancellations must be made in writing via email to potoroopantry@gmail.com
  • Cancellations made within 10 days of your order date will result in the forfeit of the deposit paid.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days and once production of your order has commenced will require full payment of the invoice as agreed. The order may be able to be frozen for a later date; please contact us to discuss storage options.
  • Very rarely, we may need to cancel your order due to sickness, health, injury or unforeseen circumstances; in this instance, you will be notified immediately, a full refund will be provided, and we will do what we can to help you find an alternate business to fulfil your order.

 Feedback

  • We love to hear from you! We would love to receive feedback from you about your order via email.
  • Should you ever be unhappy with your order or notice an error, please contact us immediately.
  • We require the return of the uneaten portion (or a sample if the majority has been consumed) to consider a refund or credit request.
  • Refunds and credit requests will be made at our discretion.
  • All communication surrounding a refund or credit request will be made in writing via email.

 Use of Images on Social Media

  • As your order is created, we may take photographs to use on our Social Media accounts for advertising and promotional purposes. We do our best not to share distinguishable features of your event until the delivery or collection of your order has taken place. Please feel free to email us images of your order being enjoyed, we love that!

 Communication

  • All communication in the lead-up to your event must be made by email to potoroopantry@gmail.com
  • You can expect to hear from me within 72 hours.
  • A contact phone number may be provided closer to your order date where I can be contacted in case of emergency.

Kids Cupcake Decorating - Australian Animal themed workshop

Join Cathy from The Potoroo Pantry for a fun class where we will use fondant, buttercream and decorations to create fun native animal
cupcakes! In this class you’ll decorate 4 cupcakes to take home with you.

Suitable for all ages. Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult.

Spring Blooms Cupcake Bouquet workshop

Join Cathy from The Potoroo Pantry and discover the basics of buttercream flower piping and create your very own floral cupcake bouquet! Learn new skills, nurture your creative side or simply enjoy a different way to unwind and connect with others. No experience necessary, for anyone ages 13 and above.

Pressed Flower Cake workshop

Create your own unique cake using stunning organic pressed flowers from Pretty Produce. In this class you will learn buttercream basics
and how to stack, crumb coat and apply a final coat to a 5-inch celebration cake, then let your creativity go wild as you decorate the cake with your own sheet of pressed flowers.

Absolutely no experience is required and at the end of the
class you will take home your own pressed flower cake to share with your loved ones or give as a gift!

Thursday 12th December 6.30pm - 8.30pm APOLLO BAY

Australian Christmas Cupcake workshop

Embrace your Christmas spirit and join Cathy from The Potoroo Pantry for a fun and relaxing evening of cupcakes and good company. In this workshop you will learn the basics of buttercream and arious piping techniques, then pipe 6 of your very own cupcakes in festive colours and decorations to take home.

As a Christmas treat from us, take home the piping tips after the class to recreate your designs again and again. You will also learn how to safely freeze and defrost your cupcakes for Christmas Day.

No experience necessary, for ages 13 and above.
