Classic Carrot Cake

It's pretty hard to be a good old classic like Carrot Cake. Two layers of moist carrot cake, bursting with carrot, walnuts and pops of pineapple, is then filled and topped with a lemon cream cheese frosting.

Finished with a rustic coating of buttercream and a sprinkle of dried edible flower petals, fresh edible flowers (whatever's growing in our garden), a sprinkle of crushed walnuts or simply piped buttercream.
